A-Level student gives lecture at the Saatchi Gallery
Yr 13 Fine Art student Millie Lamkin gave a confident and informative talk at the Saatchi Gallery earlier this year. She spoke about Janet Cardiff’s sound art installation ‘Forty Part Motet’; artwork that she had encountered at the Tate Modern earlier in the year.
Millie was selected to represent Three Rivers Academy at the ARTiculation Prize Competition. This is an annual competition set up to encourage public speaking and analysis of artwork by young people. Each year our KS4 and KS5 students are encouraged to participate and make a talk about their favourite artwork.
Well done to Millie for delivering a great presentation in this prestigious gallery!
