Information on food provision for vulnerable families

These are the services the Council is aware are being offered across the borough. The Council cannot recommend them, however, we have provided details if you wish to contact them in line with your needs:

  • The Surrey Coffee Company 
    Provision: Groceries, delivery 
    Details: Providing deliveries of food produce in line with stock availability. Delivery service is specifically for those who are unable to leave their homes. 
    Area: Based in Walton, delivering within a 5-mile radius. 
    Cost: No delivery fee, £20 minimum order

  • Cobham Food Bank Food
    Provision: Food, supplies
    Details: Vouchers can be provided through Elmbridge Borough Council to families in crisis, in shopping bags, on Tuesday lunchtimes (12 noon – 1.30pm), from Cobham Area Foodbank Distribution Centre (at the United Church, Stoke Road, Cobham KT11 3BD)

    Provision: Assistive shopping 
    Details: Assisting with shopping for food supplies. This assistance is for those who are vulnerable and aren’t covered by the Council’s services, the Foodbanks or the Government provision.

    Provision: Facebook page for community support.
    Details: Residents can post offers of help to those in need and those who are vulnerable can highlight their needs.

  • Karen Harland 
    Provision: Assistive shopping and groceries delivery 
    Details: Emergency food deliveries, picking up prescriptions where those in need are unable, as well as assistance with shopping. Providing ongoing support during self-isolation for elderly and vulnerable residents with no access to support by other means.
