Welcome from the Headteacher

Welcome to Three Rivers Academy –  a GOOD school that brings out the best in every student

Three Rivers Academy is a vibrant, supportive and inspiring school, where we believe that every child should flourish and enjoy their time with us. In February 2018 we were delighted to move into our brand-new building which offers spacious, modern and outstanding facilities. From vast and bright classrooms to state-of-the-art sports and performing arts facilities, our environment allows our students to excel and access 21st century learning.

Since joining The Howard Partnership Trust in 2016 the school has benefited in many areas from the strategic direction and support to move the school forward. As a result, Three Rivers Academy is a school that maximises opportunities for young people to develop academically and socially in an environment that is stimulating, caring and supportive. I was delighted that this was recognised in the Ofsted report from May 2019 where the school was judged to be GOOD in every category.

As Headteacher my aim is for all students to flourish during their time at Three Rivers Academy by enjoying high-quality teaching, a challenging and robust curriculum and enrichment opportunities that will develop a love for learning both within and beyond the classroom. Our high quality, professional staff are dedicated to “bringing out the best” in all our students through a personalised approach, enabling them to achieve more than they ever thought they could.

Three Rivers Academy is fully committed to working in partnership with all stakeholders including parents, Governors, and our local community, to bring out the best in all our young people.

This website is designed to give the most relevant information for you whether you are looking for a secondary school place for your son or daughter, or you wish to find out more about Three Rivers Academy or The Howard Partnership Trust and its services on offer, or perhaps consider becoming a member of staff.

I encourage all prospective parents to visit our school and meet the students and staff. We will be very proud to share with you our achievements to date and our exciting plans for the future, of which we very much hope you will want to become a part.
