Business & Economics

The Business department will bring out the best by ensuring students develop an awareness of how Business and Economics permeates through all aspects of their lives. The department aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills to become responsible citizens who contribute to the local community. By focusing on topics such as marketing, finance, and a wider world, students will develop a broad understanding of the world of business and its role in society.

We challenge students to think critically on decisions that both businesses and the government make to given situations. Students are expected to use their knowledge to understand the why of the decision, due to information at hand, whilst also considering potential alternative outcomes as a result of choices made. We actively encourage students to keep up to date with current issues and news to support their learning and understanding.
